May the best man win the starting TE job for the Miami Dolphins

New head coach Cam Cameron of the Dolphins likes to have the TE involved in his offense so it will be interesting to see which re-tread will get the most playing time.  My money is on David Martin as he appears to be the best receiver of the bunch because of his speed.   He played in 11 games (4 starts) last season for the Packers and he caught 21 passes for 198 yards (9.4 avg) with 2 TD grabs.  He has now played in 70 games (21 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 87 passes for 766 yards (8.8 avg) with 9 TD grabs.

Justin Peelle has been a Dolphin for a little while but he’s a better blocker than receiver.  He played in 15 games (10 starts) last season for the Dolphins and he caught 16 passes for 113 yards (7.3 avg) with 1 TD grab.  He has now played in 77 games (29 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 56 passes for 386 yards (6.9 avg) with 5 TD grabs.

Courtney Anderson appears to have some upside so he might be a guy to keep an eye on.  He played in 16 games (11 starts) for the lowly Raiders last season and he caught 25 passes for 285 yards (11.4 avg) with 2 TD grabs.   He has now played in 39 games (28 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 62 passes for 763 yards (12.3 avg) with 6 TD grabs.
