The Miami Dolphins turn to Cory Schlesinger at fullback
Cory Schlesinger gives the Dolphins a talented fullback to help pave the way in the running game for Ronnie Brown. He is a solid blocker and a good receiver out of the backfield. He played in 14 games (5 starts) last season for the Lions and he carried the ball 8 times for 36 yards (4.5 ypc). He has now played in 181 games (87 starts) and he has carried the ball 167 times for 473 yards (2.8 ypc) with 5 TD runs. He also has caught 197 passes for 1,445 yards (7.3 avg) with 9 TD grabs. Schlesinger’s back up at fullback with be 270 pound rookie Reagan Mauia.
