The Miami Dolphins sign OT Mike Rosenthal

The Dolphins have signed OT Mike Rosenthal to a 1-year contract.  He played in 15 games (3 starts) for the Minnesota Vikings last season and he’s played in 89 games (58 starts) over his 8 year NFL career.  The 6′7″, 315 pound Rosenthal will likely be a backup player as the Dolphins will be looking for offensive linemen in the draft later this month.

The Miami Dolphins re-sign safety Travares Tillman

The Dolphins have re-signed Travares Tillman to a 1-year contract.  He lost his starting job last season and he will be a backup this season for the Fins unless they suffer an injuries in front of him on the depth chart.  He played in 14 games last season for the Fins and he made 45 tackles, defensed 4 passes and forced a fumble.

The Miami Dolphins trade kicker Olindo Mare to the New Orleans Saints for a 6th round pick

The Dolphins have traded Olindo Mare to the Saints for a 6th round pick.  This was an expert stroke by the Dolphins who refused to cut Mare despite the fact that they had signed Jay Feely to replace him. 

The Miami Dolphins have their trade with the Denver Broncos voided

The Dolphins have to return the pick they acquired for DT Dan Wilkinson because he never showed up for his physical.  So the Dolphins will be stuck with the underachieving, old tackle for another season instead of stealing a draft pick from the Broncos.
