The Dolphins release TE Randy McMichael
The Dolphins have released their starting TE Randy McMichael. He was cut for salary cap reasons as well as his off the field conduct. He started all 16 games for the Dolphins last season and he caught 62 passes for 640 yards (10.3 avg) with 3 TD grabs. He played in 80 games in his Dolphins career (all starts) and he caught 283 passes for 3,096 yards (10.9 avg) with 18 TD grabs. David Martin has been signed to take McMichael’s spot in the starting line up.
The Dolphins also made it official and released QB Joey Harrington.
