The Dolphins to release Joey Harrington

The Dolphins are going to release Joey Harrington before free agency begins on Friday.  The Dolphins like Cleo Lemon better than Harrington as Culpepper’s back up and that’s a big reason why Harrington will be cut.  Harrington played in 11 games (11 starts) and he completed 223 of 388 passes (57.5%) for 2,236 yards with 12 TD passes and 15 interceptions (68.2 QB Rating).  He also carried the football 19 times for 24 yards (1.3 ypc).  The Dolphins are also likely to look hard at drafting Brady Quinn if he’s available with the #9 pick in the NFL Draft in April.

The Dolphins used their TEs a lot
